its gunna damage no matter what..but if you get ferria to color your hair then it comes with a shampoo you have to use for like a week or two and that will keep it undamaged..after the week or two it will always look shiny and healthy

if its done professionaly you can go as light as you want .. but its takes allot of keeping up with conditioning it right .. thats so important because your "bleaching your hair , it strips it of all natural oils .. but if done right I think you can go as light as you want .. there is always a chance of damage though

do some researchy on salons in your area and ask a porfessional colorist

as long as you dont bleach it and then dye it, whatever color you want will probably damage it the same about... i think?

Any dye will damage your hair, so highlights are usually best.

If you want the whole thing dyed a blonde, though go for a more honey blonde, opposed to bleach blonde.

Another tip is to dye it a slightly darker blonde, and then use lemon juice (or "Sun-In" if you want a product) Just put some of the lemon juice on your damp hair, then lay out in the sun for an hour. This will lighten it alot, if you continue.

Good luck!
