Can i chemically straighten my hair?

I have naturally wavy, medium brown hair that i dyed in march but recently ive had the split ends/dye cut so my hair is in better condition and my natural hair colour is growing threw again. im addicted to straightning it! it doesnt look completely bad when its that just-washed look but i prefer it straight.

My hair isnt very breakable but isnt strong either its not thick or fine just a normal texture when i run my fingers threw it.im pleased its getting healthier. I also use clip extentions which im happy with because they look so real (%26amp; i only bought them for 鎷?) it saves me straightning my fringe some days so i can leave it all wavy.

I cant wait till i have long (past the shoulder length) hair.

Although i need to keep it in good condition whilst it grows any suggestions?.

When it does grow back would it be a good idea to chemically straighten/relax my hair? i know sometimes its only for dry african curly hair but will it do less damage than straightning all the time?

You can try Japanese Straightening Perms.

But it costs hundreds of dollars and damages your hair in the long run.

Those chemicals have to break down the hair follicle and in a way, train it to take on a new shape.

You will have to nourish your hair afterwards and cut down on heat styling (blowdrying, flat irons, curling irons, crimpers, etc)

I just use a home perm kit to straighten my hair. Its inexpensive and REALLY easy!!! I just comb the solution through my hair, wait, rinse. shampoo and condition. This is probably going to sound strange, but horse shampoos and conditioners are great for dry hair, and in Texas, were firm believers that the equine products do help your hair grow faster.

If you want your hair permanitly straightened you can get your hair " relaxed " at the salon. Its the opposite of getting a perm. But it won't last forever just like a perm wont and it can cause a lot of damage to your hair. I suggest using the Sunsilk brand of haircare. They have a straighten up line which helped me tremendlously! It makes your hair easire to stratenn it when dry and it becomes straighter as the weeks go by!!!! Good Luck and i hoped i helped!!!!
