Dyed black hair always looks dyed. It's like the dark equvilant of a bleach blond. Basically it looks tacky. Don't do it, unless your a goth or something than your self reasoning is beyond me. But if you want a change try highlight or low lights, just make sure you go to a good stylist, doing it yourself looks cheap. Or you could try a glaze to make it darker (or lighter if you want) it will give you a subtle change that will look good.

No, once you dye your hair black, its extremlly hard to get it out. The only way to get it out is to bleach your hair and that frys it.
