Buy a Flat Iron (you can get a decent one for $25). After your hair is fully dry and combed of any knots, clip up your hair on top of your head - leaving a 1/3 of your hair down all around your head. Start on one side of your head and go in 2 inch sections pulling smooth and straight with the iron - don't redo the same piece of hair - wait till it cools off before doing it again. When you do the back hair that you cant see, get a small mirror so you can look in a larger mirror to get a better look at any pieces you've missed. The take the clip out or the top of your head and only put back up the crown. Repeat the steps above, but just make sure your ironing the new pieces of hair that haven't been done yet. Lastly pull out the clip and do the crown of your head.

I tried a chemical straightner that did straighten the hair, but it also fried it out quite a bit. I just blow it straight and use a ceramic flat iron now.

i use a serum for blow drying and straighting. you put it in when its wet and the heat activates it. when your straighting, put your hair up and straightin in layers. not with it all down. when you blow dry, use a brush

Blowdryer, flat iron, chemical straighteners.......but I personally have very thick,curly hair and use the original old school straightening.....a regular house iron (the kind you iron clothes with lol).....takes some practice, can fry your hair if you aren't careful, and is alot of work, but it gets my hair the straightest and sleekest out of all other methods! the best way to straighten the back of your hair is to part it equally at the back and reach to the side and place the straightners at the top of the parting and slide down towards you. Another tip is when you get to the top of your hair pull the hair up and place the straightner at the root of you your hair and pull it up towards the end. hope this helps

* section a stright line acsorr the back (Hold up high in a ponytail with hands then poke your finger in 2 draw a straight line and create a small thin section)

* hold section with one hand behind your head and then smooth the irons through

* repeat and then do same 4 sides.

* when all done, let hair down and then go over once more.

* use heat-protection spray!
