Well I am not sure about in your area but on average color cost $45-$85. Highlights are about the same and a cut is about $5-$15

Approx. $25 belive me from experience of a bad hair day. I was a sales rep. @ Belk and i decided to go from med. brn to red, well that was a bad mistake (not sayin your color is bad). I went to Sally's hair supply and bought stripping bleach ($6) and then the color i wanted to be and fixed it.

Call a few salons and ask them. Ask :

how many stylist they have there,

how who has the most years of experience, and how has the least

then ask if their prices differ based on years of experience. That way you'll know if you'll be charged more for a more experienced person. Also it will give you a chance to book your appt based on your choice of price and/or years of experience.

If it's a nice salon, they won't mind going over this information w/you over the phone.

If they sound irritated to be talking to you and answering so many questions, then that's your clue that you don't want to trust your hair with them.
