This cat jumped in my truck engine bay and I got it out. Later that night it started to snow and he was scratching at my door so I brought him in. I am looking for a good home for this cat. He is good with other cats and my 140 pound dog.

Might be better to advertise about him locally. Ask if anywhere locally will allow you to put up flyers.
I'd recommend a no-kill shelter, but it's in the Boise area. You could try calling them and seeing if they know of any that are local to your area though.

i'd take him to a no-kill shelter or put an ad no petfinder or craigslist. Be sure to ask for a good adoption fee on Craigslist and petfinder because you don't want to give him away for free because there are people who are paid to find free animals to give to research labs, use for fight dog bait and other wretched things.
